Macho Man Randy Savage is a great dude. He chose to live his life to the most extreme. He was an amazing talent in his day, and in the present his character is well acknowledged. He was a the mascot for an interesting form of beef jerky with a catch phrase that was born for him. That skinny Slim Jim dude sucks. Macho owned that shit. Although I wasn't a big fan of Macho when I was a kid because I was more of an Ultimate Warrior, Bushwack Brothers and Junkyard dog kinda dude...I have grown a real great appreciation for Macho Man Randy Savage. He style was SAVAGE!

I just got blessed with one of these. Mine says Rizzla and it's metal, and it's fucking bitchin'. It's got a nice curve not unlike that of a standard flask should, and plenty of space to store papers (rolling, money, planes, etc.,.) and buds (pot, reefer, friends, etc...) and filters.
Rice from Hawaii gave it to me. Thank you Rice.

Hey everyone this is Ryan. I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. I plan on fixing that. Here's an update on whats been happening:

Mike from White Pee let me borrow this delay pedal for my keyboard. I guess this is a great pedal. Multiple gearheads have commented on it. I've been spending a large chunk of my free time figuring it out. I pretty much have all the sounds I want to make locked in. I was taught classical piano and eventually jazz so I'm baffled when it comes to electronics.

This is my next purchase. It runs about $80.00 new which I thought was expensive, but apparently it's cheap for a pedal. Starting a "serious band" is expensive. PS invite me over to jam someone.

Did you know the WWE wrestler "The Rock" and now serious actor Dwayne Johnson considered Arthur Russell a father figure? I guess Dwayne's mom was a professor at NYU and hung out with the downtown art crowd. Dwayne worked as a bouncer at some of the clubs Russell would perform at. Eventually they developed an intimate rapport. It's in some issue of the New Yorker. Ian told me that and it really tripped me out.

Speaking of the New Yorker, I've been reading it every week. I asked nana for a subscription for Christmas and of course she made it happen. I love you nana! We don't have a television in our house so this is my only news source.

A couple things I've been reading in addition to the New Yorker:

Charles Mingus (I highly recommend this. The number of women he supposedly balls is out of control.)

I went to CCA last week for a Jonathan Franzen reading. Genius writer/genius riffer.

Mi Ami is my favorite band going in San Francisco right now. I'm tempted to say the best too.

I'm headed to Los Angeles next weekend with my girlfriend. Here is our plan so far, but feel free to give me some ideas via the blog or myspace.

LA County Museum of Art. I'd like to see the Chris Burden piece at night. Like in the photo.

Peres Projects. Terrance Koh is funny.

Opening Ceremony. My girlfriend is going to throw down here I'm sure.

I saw these photos in a blog Jabar turned me onto (2 or 3 Things I Know). If you've seen my bedroom then you know how much this speaks to my soul.
