Hook after hook. Damn, this is a great jam. Pick up a copy of this ANYWHERE for less than five bucks. Put this song on a tape for your old lady/man and make her/him smile. Put it on a tape for your crush and they will wonder.
This was my first Sonic Youth record. I didn't play it that much because after I heard it, I dove straight into Their whole discography. That being said... this is a cool record with an amazing hit (see below), and pretty much helped me to find the weirdness inside me. TALLY HO!
Use the full screen option so you can get a better sense of the pieces. I wish there was a shop that carried this type of shit. The imagery these guys use to convey their message is in my eyes flawless. Also, Poetic Justice is such a perfect date movie.
This record is a must have. Packed with perfect pop-tunes that may lead you to wanting more. Maybe because most of the songs on this record are under four minutes. But I tell you, You will be singing along in no time. GBV are (were?)The Uncles of Lo-Fi rock. The Strokes like these guys too.
This will be Late Young's last show for a few months as they are recording new material. Come out and get skulled. Dion has some new equipment that is bound to demolish somes brain cells.
This is one of the High Priests of Pop Music. Man, we played this cd non-stop. We sang it, and we sang it, and we sang it again. In perfect order, the songs pretty much lay out a teenagers feeling's in a day. Am I going too far here? Whoops, I guess stoney leaf will do that to you from time to time. Plus I am really distracted by the tv screen which is showing Conan The Barbarian.
Watson told me just today, that he played his cd so much that it wore out. Like...it stopped working.
